Spring Art Class Schedule

 

Monday

Multi Level Drawing with Jack Nichols Jack has been a popular instructor with GLAA in the past and he's back to offer a drawing class. 9am-12noon $15/class. Call Jack at 262-248-2903.

Oil Painting with Ken Cottingham Still life, landscapes and portraits, all levels are welcome. 6pm-9pm 262-249-1179, $15/class.

Tuesday

Acrylics with Jack Flanigan Jack is a McHenry County College instructor and is now providing a beginning acrylics class at GLAA. Basic painting knowledge is helpful but be prepared to learn a whole lot more. 9 am - 11:30 am, Call Jack at 262-215-2511. $12.50/class. 

Watercolor Basics with Vicky Lilla This class offers beginners and advanced beginners the opportunity to grow as artists. Emphasis will be placed on brush techniques, choosing watercolor paper, setting up a palette and color mixing. Conforming to the students needs and interest, exercises will include creating textures, color glazing, lifting and preserving whites, creating form, variety in edges and washes. Learn to paint with more confidence and explore your own artistic vision. Afternoons, 1pm - 4 pm, $15/class. Call Vicky at 262-279-5388 to register.

Wednesday

Open Studio Join other GLAA membersa and use this time to create at your own pace and with the medium of you choice. 9am - Noon, Questions, call Emily DeBaere 262-248-4349. $1 fee per session.

"Another Point of View" with Mickey Fielitz This class will encourage you to use your imagination while learning all Mickey has to offer. Portrait painting, negative painting and experimental use of papers are all taught in this beginner to intermediate class. 1pm-4pm. Call Mickey 262-248-1036, $15/class.

Mosaic with Nancy Wolff Nancy will teach you the basics of masaics, and then show you how to use the technique to create unique and

beautiful works of art. 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Call Nancy at 847-295-8765 or email her at nannerw@comcast.net. $95/8 week session begins
