Chinese Brush PaintingJoin GLAA Instructor Gillian Graffy's very popular one-day workshop!
No painting or drawing experience necessary. Bring a lunch or take a break at a nearby take-out. This class will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013, from 9:30am - 3:00 pm in the GLAA Gallery/Classroom. Cost is $50.00 per class and includes all supplies. Bring a bag lunch.

Sandra, a well-known mixed media artist, visits estate sales and other local venues to add to her vast collection of vintage glass. She uses these pieces to construct her often, elegant, sometimes whimsical glass topiaries, or “totems”. They are designed to withstand outdoor elements and add a distinctive look to any landscape. They also make one-of-a-kind statements in interior spaces. Sandra will teach students how to design their totem, incorporate colored versus clear glassware, assemble their creations and, finally, care for their unique totems. All supplies are included. The gallery is located in the North Shore Pavilion at 647 Main Street (Route 50) in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. There is a convenient visitor’s parking lot behind the North Shore Pavilion. Hours: Saturday, 10am - 4pm; Sundays, 1pm - 4 pm; Fridays (during summer only), 1pm - 4 pm.
