I have used the visual arts throughout my teaching career and now paint for my own enjoyment. My primary medium is watercolor and my work includes still life and botanical paintings. I have always been drawn to detail and enjoy the subtleties in color, shape and line. My paintings are linear and delicate and I try to capture the unique composition, color, mood and grace that are inherent in nature and the objects that I paint.
